Requesting a Transcript
Transcripts can be requested using the "Request Transcript" menu tab within your student dashboard.
All transcript requests will be confirmed within the dashboard once the transcript is arranged with the registrar.
Please Note: Official transcripts will only be sent directly to schools unless the school specifically outlines that a sealed official transcript should be attached to each application.
Official transcripts may only be requested after the final grade for a given course is finalized by the instructor. After a valid request is successfully submitted, it may take up to 14 business days from the receipt of your transcript request until the shipment of your official transcript. If there is an issue regarding your request, processing may be delayed. Official transcript requests are uploaded once per week to our partner college for processing and returned to us for shipping via First Class U.S. Mail. This process cannot be altered or expedited.
Unofficial transcripts may only be requested after the final grade for a given course is finalized by the instructor. Unofficial Transcripts will be sent via email and will be processed with the Official Transcripts, twice per week. Unofficial Transcripts may be sent directly to a school or to a student. Unofficial Transcripts are a statement from Portage Learning to indicate the completion of a course.
Proof of Enrollment / In-Progress Report
A proof of enrollment form or in-progress report may be requested at any time after registration and prior to the finalization of a course. Proof of enrollment / In-Progress reports will be sent via email and will be processed with the Official Transcripts, twice per week. Proof of Enrollment / In-Progress Reports may be sent directly to a school or to a student. The report is used to indicate that a student is enrolled in a course. No information regarding course performance is provided.
Important Timing Considerations
Neither the processing or shipment of official transcripts, unofficial transcripts or proof of enrollment forms can be expedited.
Transcripts are sent via U.S. Mail and should arrive at your school within one week of shipment. We do not have any control of the transcript once it leaves our facility via U.S. Mail.
Keep in mind that your school may require some time to process your transcript after it is delivered.
The issuance of transcripts and proof of enrollment will be suspended during holiday and vacation periods.
